Miracle Mile Coffee Bean Ribbon Cutting

One of the reasons I love being a member of the LA Chamber of Commerce is the great people I get to meet.

I recently ran into one of them as I happened upon a ribbon cutting ceremony at the former site of Pioneer Chicken at San Vincente and Fairfax. Although I miss Pioneer Chicken, I’m certainly happy to see this next business to take it’s place… ahhh… Coffee Bean.

The ribbon cutting was conducted by Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce Senior Vice President & head of Sales and Business Development, Lee Ligons. Lee spoke graciously in support of the Miracle Mile area.

Lee Ligons is responsible for business development at the LA Chamber, working to bring more new corporate member/partnerships into the Chamber’s Circle of Support level. Ligons aims to secure strong relationships with top level executives of the largest companies in the region. Before joining the LA Chamber in 2005, Lee worked as a business developer at Pitney Bowes Corporation. Ligons received a bachelor’s degree from Central State University in Ohio and an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix. Ligons is an usher and head concierge at Crenshaw Christian Center and associate board member of the Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council. When not hitting aces at the tennis court, Lee enjoys spending time with his family.
